MASA Horlogerie® is the first fully Malaysian-owned watchmaking company dedicated to creating ultra-exclusive luxury timepieces inspired by traditional Malay heritage. Founded by a doctor-horologist in 2015 on the 58th anniversary of Malaysia’s Independence, the company now enters its second decade, defined by precision, craftsmanship, and enduring cultural legacy. MASA’s trademark Keris Semenanjung™ hand, the world’s first of its kind, stands as a signature of the brand, where traditional symbolism meets contemporary horology.
Our work draws upon the distinguished heritage and artistry of Swiss watchmaking, alongside the rich cultural legacy of Malaysia. “Horologi Warisan™”, or “Heritage Horlogerie™”, defines our philosophy, through which Malaysian cultural elements are integrated into each timepiece, guided by the time-honoured values of Swiss horology. To celebrate this heritage, our collections feature distinctive traditional motifs, including our “Songket Bunga Pecah Lapan” dial, a symbol of harmony, purity, and new beginnings, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens.
